PVP Tournament!

Alright, its about time we crown a guild PVP champion... So I am sponsoring a PVP tournament. Here is how it will work:

1) There is a 10,000 gold entrance fee for all participants. Only one participating character per member. Entrance fees are to be sent to the character KridRenommus through the in-game mail system.

2) You will be given a week to register, at which point the tournament will begin.

3) Everybody will be given a number based upon the order in which you post your registration on this thread. I will use these numbers to randomly assign seeds to the participants. This means the fights for the first round will be randomly assigned, and winners continue on to next round. It is just like any college sports tournament.

4) Every fight must be observed by one of the officers. This means all officers will not be allowed to participate. You may have unobserved practice fights, but the results will not count towards the tournament and may give away your fighting technique. For this reason, practice fights are allowed but not encouraged after the tournament has started.

5) Upon the end of the semi-finals (with only four participants left), the two semi-finals losers shall fight in order to determine the 3rd place spot. 2nd place shall be the loser of the final round, and the 1st place winner will be the person who wins the final round.

6) The prizes will be as follows:

1st place: 150,000 gold +50% of entrance fee earnings.

2nd place: 100,000 gold +30% of entrance fee earnings.

3rd place: 50,000 gold +20% of entrance fee earnings.

7) Complaining will not change anything, unless one of the judges (the guild officers) decides that there was a considerable amount of lag that changed the outcome of the fight. This will be up to the observing officer's decision, and all decisions will be final.

All fights will be set for times in which both participants can be online, to be agreed upon by both participants and an observing officer. If the participants miss 3 arranged fighting times (throughout the whole tournament), said participant will be disqualified.

slim, is this participate tournament? officers can not participate unless observer or practice fight..

Uh, sorry Slim, no fighting for you...

But, valid question. I figured 2 out of 3 would be fair enough. But, for the final fight, I figure 3 out of 5 will be justified. They will be the tournament leaders, after all!

The times will be decided between the fighters in each match... So, there are no set times. The fighters and one officer decide upon a time, and if any of the fighters don't make it within a reasonable amount of time, they get a warning. 3 missed fights throughout the tournament and you are disqualified.

Okay, I'm fine with the time factor.. I have nothing but time. lol (Except REAL early in the morning <---- Not a morning person lol)
